Hezbollah's SG: Israeli enemy not to achieve its objectives due to solidarity in Lebanon

Tehran - BORNA - In a meeting with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Beirut on Friday, the Lebanese leader said that Hezbollah will continue to cooperate with Lebanon’s government and army to secure the withdrawal of invaders, the end of aggression and the release of prisoners of war, as well as the reconstruction of the country.

Sheikh Qassem earlier said that Lebanon is experiencing instability as a result of US-Israeli acts, noting that Washington has started supporting corruption in Lebanon since 2019.

FM Araghchi, for his part, said that Iran wants to expand ties with Lebanon; therefore, he is accompanied by an economic delegation to pursue this objective.

The foreign minister emphasized that the Iranian government and people are determined to continue resistance under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

He noted that foreign threat against Iran to prevent the Iranian nation from its legitimate rights to acquire nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and to possess defensive capabilities are doomed to failure.
